A commissioned Beemo/BMO ... 8.25" tall.... I didn't measure his controller.. but it was small enough to drive me a bit insane. His cord and shaping took the longest. :)

As always, 100% wool -- NO sewing, NO gluing.... just one needle, some glorious wool, my hands and a lot of time.

***I am not affiliated with Cartoon Network nor Adventure Time -- I'm strictly a huge fan and love to create these purely out of adoration and appreciation of the show.***

That's really cute, I'd like to try to make a small one out of clay.

Is even the controlled cord felted? That's crazy awesome. :)

It is.... that was one of the hardest parts.. it's so tiny and thin.. but needed to be strong enough to withstand 'play', if that makes sense. But yep.. it's all needle felted! :)

Interesting. So you can manipulate the strength of the felt?

Sure.... by the amount of wool and density of felting... if you poke in one place long enough, you can condense it and intertwine the fibers enough to make it solid to where there is no give... it will lose the fluff and softness, if that makes sense.

So in creating that cord, I took varied fluffs of wool, rolled it in my hands and then just poked it it for what seemed like an eternity and added fluffs of wool to strengthen it in weak areas.. again, needle felting until I could hold Beemo up and dangle the controller without any fear of the cord snapping, coming apart or loosening. Time consuming, but worth it.. :)
